Our Purpose

Our purpose is to bring ourselves together into an association of residents and other interested parties for the purpose of working together toward those goals which will make our community a more desirable and safer place to live, worship, work and play.

 

Area

All homes in Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Greystone Subdivision, as recorded in the Shelby County Registrar’s office and generally known as Greystone Subdivision, and Madison Woods Subdivision, as recorded in the Shelby County Registrar’s office and generally known as Madison Woods Subdivision. These homes are bounded on the North by Shadow Hills Drive and excluding all homes on Shadow Hills Drive except homes located at 7565, 7575, 7585 and 7595 Shadow Hills Drive, on the SouthEast by property owned by Norfolk Southern Raiload, on the West by Appling Road and Shadowlawn Road.

 

Function

  • To promote and stimulate interest in The Association area among its members and prospective members.

  • To provide an opportunity for residents of the Association to become better acquainted.

  • To promote an opportunity for members to take cooperative action in matters of mutual concern.

  • To establish and maintain contact with neighboring subdivisions, ensuring cooperation on matters of joint interest, and mutual support of each others’ activities.

  • To provide a means of communication among members with residents of adjacent areas, with organizations, with governmental agencies and with utilities concerning services and matters of general concern to members.

  • To foster civic involvement by members.

  • To enhance social and recreational opportunities and activities of members.

  • To elect a Board of Directors and/or officers once a year by popular vote of all members.

  • To conduct such activities as may be in keeping with its principal objectives.
